Spirularin HS Lip Creme has been developed for the protection of lips and to reduce the visible symptoms after an outbreak; for its special suitability to care for herpes prone lips it combines two benefits: Firstly Spiralin®, an active micro-algae extract, which forms an anti-microbial film¹ over healthy cells and acts as prophylactic lip care against bacterial, viral and fungal pathogens, to also prevent secondary infections.
In addition this transparent, neutral tasting cream also improves the visual appearance by reducing dry lips or crusty scabs and minimizes associated pain. Secondly it provides a strong sun-protection factor (SPF-15), to reduce the risk of triggering out-breaks by UV-exposure8. This works in combination with natural oils and high-quality nurturing ingredients to stabilize the impaired skin barrier.
