Self preparing food for your cat can be a daunting task. Usually the specific animal protein, the veterinarian prescribes, is difficult to obtain. The preparation of the food may be time consuming. Time is precious, leading to the self preparation of the diet to not always be ideal. In addition, some types of meat have an unpleasant smell during preparation.
