Use a very thick paper or card stock with a smooth coated surface if you aren't using special marker bleed-proof paper. They will bleed through standard coloring paper because they are Alcohol Based Markers, just like all other brands of alcohol markers. Remember to carefully cap the pen after each use, as the alcohol-based properties will cause it to evaporate.
