When We Were Happy

Whatever happens to us, it leaves scars. Yet not all those scars hurt us. Some of them, whenever we look at them, remind us that fear and pain weren't easy, and that we overcame them by ourselves and without any external help. This thought alone shows us how much time has been invested there until we have become who we are now, at this very moment.
