First time Fasting

Holy Qur@an establishes that fasting teaches us self control and creates a spirit of gratitude. In the first story, Amir has an anger problem and mom knows how to get rid of anger. He learns that fasting can help him develop self control. He uses this self control to get rid of his anger problem. In the second story, Shireen begins to appreciate her blessings only after they are taken away. Because of this gratitude, she develops a spirit of giving to those who are needy.
