Sunshine Nutrition's Vitamin D Tablets are formulated with Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), the body's preferred form of Vitamin D. Commonly known as Sunshine Vitamin. Our current fast-paced lifestyle limits the exposure to natural sunlight for the required period to produce Vitamin D and also as we age, the receptors in the body for this conversion decreases. Hence supplementation is necessary. Vitamin D promotes calcium absorption in the gut and maintains adequate serum calcium and phosphate concentrations to enable normal mineralization of bone and to prevent hypocalcemic tetany.
