Variations and changes can be very difficult for small children. When children have been used to a nest-formed babynest, it is often comforting and supporting for the child to maintain the safe feeling that the nest provides even when it has grown out of it. The mattress pad of the toddlernest is a thin layer of quilted fabric holding the strap to maintain the form. Because of the weight of the child, we recommend that the toddlernest is placed on a mattress to spare the back of the child as much as possible.

When the child grows out of the toddlernest, the bumper can be taken off and used as a bed bumper. The toddlernest can thereby be used for many years and can support the child as it goes through changes and the different phases of the childhood. The toddlernest comes in a bag in matching print, and the toddlernest can easily be folded and brought for overnight visits or vacations.

Note: The Toddlernest cannot replace the babynest. It will not provide the same comfort and snug feeling for babies from 0-8 months. You should always follow the age guideline provided by Born Copenhagen.
