To remove plaque and food particles, place curved metal tip against the tooth surface and as close to the gum line as possible. Move the tip away from the gum line towards the biting edge of the tooth. Clean it thoroughly with water and soap after use. Wipe with alcohol at least once a week. Bleeding may occur when first removing plaque from in between teeth and tooth surfaces. Regular use should decrease such incidences.
